By accessing and using SmartHunt (“the Service”), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

SmartHunt is operated by Aim Point, a Canadian-based company. These Terms govern your use of SmartHunt's job application tracking tools, premium features, and associated services.

03Description of service

SmartHunt is a job application tracking service that helps users organize their job search, analyze applications, and access AI-powered features. The Service includes:

• Job application tracking and management
• AI-powered job analysis and recommendations
• Cover letter generation and optimization
• Resume building and improvement tools
• Interview preparation assistance
• Progress analytics and reporting

04User accounts

Account creation

To use the Service, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information and to keep it updated.

Account security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

Account termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, including for violations of these Terms.

05Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe the rights of others
• Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or harmful code
• Attempt unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
• Use the Service for commercial purposes without our consent
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service

06User content

Ownership

You retain full ownership of any content you submit to the Service.

Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of the content you submit.

Prohibited content

You may not submit content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.

07AI features

Our Service includes AI-powered features such as job analysis, cover letter generation, and resume optimization. These tools may generate suggestions or content automatically.

We do not guarantee the accuracy, effectiveness, or outcome of any AI-generated content. Users are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying all AI-generated content before using it for professional or personal purposes, including submitting it to employers. SmartHunt will not be held liable for any loss of job opportunity, rejection, or other outcome based on the use of AI-generated content.

08Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

09Intellectual property

Our rights

The Service, including all content, software, and designs, is the property of SmartHunt and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

10Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We disclaim all express or implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non-infringement.

11Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SmartHunt shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, profits, business opportunities, or goodwill, resulting from your use of the Service or reliance on AI-generated content.

12Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SmartHunt, Aim Point, and their employees, officers, and agents from any claims or liabilities arising from your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

13Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at any time, without notice or liability, if you violate these Terms or for any other reason.

14Paid credits

SmartHunt offers Paid Credits for access to premium AI features:

• Pricing: $9.99 CAD for 100 Paid Credits, plus applicable taxes.
• Usage: 1 credit equals 1 use of a premium feature.
• Non-refundable: all credit purchases are final, except where required by law.
• No expiry: credits do not expire but may be forfeited if your account is deleted or terminated.
• No resale: you may not sell, exchange, or transfer credits outside of the platform.

15Payment processing

All payments are securely processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card or payment information on our servers.

16Governing law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.

17Changes to terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide notice (e.g., via email or in-app notification) at least 30 days before the new Terms take effect.
